Whispering Word leadership course adds up through successes and failures

LONDON, ENGLAND (ANS) -- Whispering Word ministries is launching an innovative course called Managing 4 Multiplication to empower Christian leaders to grow in their ministry by drawing on experiences of successes, failures and how they overcame them.

"Churches that have seen growth are because of good management and good visionary leadership from the people in charge. I thought it would be great to get some folk together who have succeeded in terms of church multiplication to share some of the secrets of their success, not just that but also share their failures," said Reverend Victor Robert Farrell, founder of Whispering Word.

He added: "It's great to see the pastor up front leading a church of thousands but it's good to know that he's also spent several visits in hospital for stress related symptoms going through the process. You've got to have the two there because whenever there's any kind of growth there's always resistance from the enemy and people need to know some of the difficulties that other folks have gone through what they've been able to overcome, so really what I'm interested in is not just sharing successes but sharing some failures and some things that have been overcome as well."

Each one day course taking place over eleven Saturdays starting in January 2011 will cover four sessions, featuring teaching from some of the country's most respected Christian leaders will take place at Premier Christian Radio in Central London.

Reverend Farrell says the sessions will cover Visioneering, Pillars and Killers, Triple E and Reaching Targets.

"We'll look at how to get vision, how to keep it, how to continually define it and make sure that the fuel of that vision is always there at the forefront. The second session is called 'Pillars and Killers' - in other words how to identify those things which are going to be pillars to the vision which will support it, how to promote those and how to avoid the practices and people that actually prove to be killers of the vision as well.

"So I think it's quite important looking at pillars and killers knowing that the two are there. Then in the third session we look at the need for 'Triple E' - excellence, enthusiasm and exclusions. We'll look at how to implement excellent business practice, enthusiastic visionary leadership and how to be very brutal about excluding those things and those people who'll destroy you."

"The fourth session to going to be 'Reaching Targets' - how to identify these targets how to correctly impact them in a post-modern and pagan society and then how to measure the response. We want to be biblical and practical and a key phrase here is we believe being biblical is being practical.

"We want to make sure that the Kingdom of God is beginning to pull together by sharing successes, failures and how to overcome them."
